Lawyer in Munich/Germany
Since 1988 I am certified lawyer in Munich/Germany and member of the bar association Munich.
I give advice (also in English) for the foundation of internationally acting corporate bodies (associations) with seat in Germany. My clients are among others universities, Max-Planck Institutes and trade associations which are active in Germany as well as throughout Europe in the fields of economy and science, as well as associations and companies which would like to become active on an international level.
I also give advice especially concerning the choice of the legal form and the formulation of the association’s articles (e.g. management’s power of representation, rights of members, election modalities), in order to find the best solution for the realization of the founders‘ intentions.
Focal Points of my Advisory Activity:
- Formulation of an Association’s Articles
- Preparation of the Foundation Meeting
- Minutes of the Foundation Meeting
- Name, Seat, Legal Form, Purpose of the Association
- Registration at Court
- Recognition of Public Utility by Financial Authorities
- Management Responsibilities
- Founding of Umbrella and Trade Associations
- International (European) Association
- Re-Organization, Merger
- Supervision of General Meetings (Elections)
For extrajudicial concerns I charge an hourly fee or lump-sum payment.
Before the mandate is awarded I always discuss the fee and the amount of expected costs. When awarding the mandate you therefore know about the probably arising costs.
For judicial concerns I charge according to the RVG (German Lawyers‘ Fees Act). Also in this case I discuss with you the fees and the cost risk before the mandate is awarded.
